Preston Tucker (1903-1956), an automotive engineer almost realized his ambition of producing a "completely new" passenger automobile after the war. The Tucker never entered full production, but its design epitomized automotive trends that were new and significant in the immediate postwar years: avant-garde styling and innovative mechanical features.
Placing this car against the dark wood panel wall highlights the cool blue finish making the car pop within the museum. I designed the pop-up exhibit alongside the platform, guards and graphics.
