The First Ladies virtual tour

Lead Interactive media designer, Graphic design

Designed first interactive virtual tour for the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.

The virtual tour reflects the spatial experience and architecture of the gallery allowing the online visitor to enjoy the curator and exhibition designer's vision. The flow of the exhibition is important as it reveals each story and topic important to understanding the first ladies over history.

All items on the pages are interactive and provide the educators and visitors with a library of the artifacts, history, and information as seen in the exhibition. However, professional photos and close-ups of dresses and accessories allow the visitor to delve into a lot more detail. Leading the team with an in-house coder, we collaborated with curators, exhibition designers,  photographers, production teams, textile and costume conservators to make it all come together.

The virtual tour is on the Smithsonian website and can be viewed here- Click here
